Based on concepts from the book ‘Telling Tales’ by Taffy Thomas and Steve Killick, this introductory course for children aged 7-11 years explores how storytelling can be used to enhance and develop a range of skills that will feed back into the child’s everyday learning.

During this ‘hands on’ course, run over 4 sessions each of 90 minutes, children will develop confidence in working with others in large and small groups; constructing and presenting stories to their peers; learning memory techniques; enhancing observational and listening skills; and much more.

COST:

The costs is £240 + reasonable travel expenses. All course materials will be supplied and a copy of the ‘Telling Tales’ publication provided to the school’s representative at the end of the course to enable further study.
